1. Man is Natures instrument. He possesses immense power and has also the implements required for the utilization of that Power. That wonderful implement is mind, and it is exclusively the possession of man. Even Gods who are thought to be the objects of worship do not have mind. The animals however are said to be possessing mind, but it is a different nature. It is so to say in an inert state in comparison with man’s mind which is full of life and activity. The Mind owes its origin to the first ‘stir’ which came into effect by the will of God, to bring the creation into existence. Such being the true nature of the human mind, it is highly discreditable on the part of these pseudo-Mahatmas to rail against it in the bitterest terms, proclaiming it as the worst enemy of man. They do not take into consideration its real value and merit.
    In fact it is the only instrument for bringing things into action. It is the same divine force which descended down in the form of Kshob. It is the same power in a miniature form which has now brought into existence the tiny creation of man. It is the same power which is in action at the root of everything. Now who’s power is it? is it of God or man? the answer is simple. It is definitely of man because god possesses no mind. VR II P 115
  2. For a man too it is quite possible to receive Divine commands, but only when he has attained similar state of elevation. The origin of man is similar to that of the Universe. It was what is known as ‘Kshob’ , the primary stir which stimulated motion and activity. The reflection of ‘Kshob’ exists in man and also in other things. If it is not there then no activity could be possible. In man this reflection of ‘Kshob’ is known as mind or manas, which is indispensable factor of existence. VR I 247
  3. Before creation there was only ‘space’ all over. Thus being of God ( Isha ) was a later development and it took some time for its appearance. We see the space as endless and eternal, so we conclude God as well to be eternal. Time followed after God had come into being. Thus space served as the mother of creation of God, and time was the negative state of it. Everything must have its end in endlessness. Motion was also there in every thing, however fine or invisible it might be. One might also ask who created space then? The only possible answer can be that the need for creation of God and of the universe led to be the cause of the existence of the space. It is and shall ever be and is therefore eternal. Why not then worship space instead? There is definitely a hint about it in Rigveda but the mystery remains unsolved and unclear for want of precise clarification. If one develops within him the state of akasha , he has then reached the highest point which corresponds to the final state of negation, which everyone must duly aspire for. The solution is no doubt wonderful and at the same time perfectly correct too. The akasha or the space is the Absolute. It is not composed of particles nor is there any action in it. It is perfectly pure and unalloyed.
  4. The only thing in existence, before creation came into existence, was Divinity in the original state and every thing in essence form was merged in it. The process ofmanifestation started with the kshobha which stirred up a churning movement in the sphere of the latent motion. Activity revived and with it the force got enlivened and started its action towards manifestation. This line of action thoughin perfect consonance with Divinity appeared in its outer aspects to be somewhat different from it since it had taken another course aiming at manifestation. It may for that reason be denoted as the ‘line of humanity’, because of its close association with the formation of man. Both the lines are now in action, the Divinity and the humanity, running side by side, parallel to each other. But since creation was the primary object at the root, the line of humanity began to acquire Predominance and everything, including man began to assume a tangible form though the subtlest at the stage. In other words the line of humanity became the base of the entire structure. But its action remained subject to the dormant actions of the line of Divinity, which ran along parallel to it. So the proper working of the force went on bringing out forms and shapes.
  5. The same powers, which exist in the Original, manifested in man because those particles, which existed at the time of the First Stir in God, were included in man’s thought. They worked contrary to That because there was inversion in man, and those faculties which entered man began to be used in the opposite way. All this combined to promote the growth of a network which man has formed by his thought power. TM 36-37
  6. Imagine the long period during which these things were continually aiding the manifestation of order. They have been absorbing the effect through out that period. No doubt, they had lost their solidity, but the effect necessarily remained, and they had dissolved into That along with that effect which they had absorbed. That was the movement which was generated in That due to the shocks of that Root Power. This being saturated with the effect, remained silently active; and this continued indefinitely. It is known as the Latent Motion around the Centre. TM -9
  7. The root cause of the entire universe from the finest to the grossest is the innermost centre, the base or zero. We may call it as God or Brahma. RD 87
  8. When the time of creation came, the latent motion beneath the Centre grew stronger, causing a stirring movement which later led to the formation of the universe. That may be called the First, or Super-Mind of the Almighty. We owe our origin to that mind which we call the First Mind. On the back side of the First Mind there is Centre or the state of Tam (Hindi) which is clearly explained in my book “Commentary on the Ten Commandments of SAHRAJ MARG”. If you have brought your individual mind to the level of First Mind, then you have only to jump above the First Mind whereto there is Centre or Almighty.   9. Invisible motions descended from the main artery for the creation of the universe, and they spread like showers in the big vast circle. These revolving motions constituted the world no doubt, and we see the forms created by the Almighty through the invisible motions all round. This clearly proves that we are connected with the force of power, which effected such wonderful results as we see in the world. Thus, though diversely related with each other, all things are finally connected with one and the same thing. ERY 25. Heart region
  10. Passions have been related in different ways in the scriptures of all religions. The true picture is something else. The first jerk of energy was passion. It was pregnant with all the forces required for creation. It came from the highest intelligence because that was the component factor to give movement to the Will of God. It also came to our share, but its beauty was lost because “I viewed it from different angles. The centre of the highest intelligence and of passion is the same. It cannot be annihilated in any way or by any method, because it excites into action that which is necessary for man. Man cannot enter into the spiritual life unless he is moved with force towards it. AB I P 28-29 6th april 1928
  11. With the infusion of the soul into the human body all the attributes and characteristics, and the powers of understanding and sense, were inherent at their highest perfection. Emotions arose in connection with the creation of the Universe. The attention and diversion of the soul went on going towards matter. Balance ceased to exist. There remained no moderation in the inherent conditions, until all the emotions became dead. AB I P 143 letter dated 10th march 1931
  12. That very condition of moderation, which prevailed in human hearts and souls at the start, comes over now. The intervening conditions and stages are waves. From them it cannot be known as to what peace is, nor where it does abide. Now in reality the man is in the form of a man whereas prior to this he was an animal in the form of man. When is reality found in waves? There is no question of start and reach here. What exists, exists. Weakness, passions and emotions are in imperfection only. There is no trace of waves and passions in perfection. There is peace when all the attributes become moderate. This is the state of desirelessness in spite of desires. AB I P 144 10th march 1931
  13. Before the beginning of the creation, the state of the Ultimate Being can be conceived in the form of a dome for the sake of understanding. When the time for the creation of the universe was there, movement got started , together with a sort of will. With the start of this movement ions and molecules of power started manifesting in the shape of particles and atoms; and minerals , vegetations, and animals got woven into it like the beads of rosary. That is to say , all things came out of the source that was close to the Ultimate Being of the time of intention ; and (those manifested things ) brought power with them . Nature , which was manifest in the current like a knot, was full of power. These currents contained power i.e sublimity of the Ultimate Being to the extent of their closeness to It. Now man, into whom these currents are penetrated and who remain circumscribed by them brought power along with(him) to the extent of descendance of the current . This very power got subdivided into subtle , subtler and subtlest forms for the sake of facility of description . The return (journey) of man is to go through process of reverse climbing up along the current , that has descended downwards; and thus reach closure to the Ultimate Being in that subtlest form. His power , according to principle under reference, will go on increasing as he will progress in climbing up more and more. AB II VOL II P 140

When the time of Creation came, preparations commenced, currents flowed out, vibrations intensified, formation of knots (Granthis) started, momentum gathered, churning process set in and actions and reactions began and continued till objects began to assume individual forms. The process of Creation thus came into full swing. Animate and inanimate objects began to come into existence. In course of time all the objects came to light and the universe was formed. The activity which had started went on developing till finally the idea of inactivity which lay at the bottom of motion began to surge up. It formed the basis of all philosophical speculations. Mental aspirations leading to the search for the Higher started from this point and became the foundation of religion.

Everything and all were nearly in a static state before Creation, and were dissolved into their origin, and had almost lost their own condition; nevertheless, their earlier impression persisted. This was because of the shade of Reality under which they remained till the time of dissolution, which helped them to retain the effect of the impression during the entire period of their existence.   16. The existence of soul can be traced out as far back as to the time of creation when the soul existed in its naked form as a separate entity. From that primary state of existence of the soul in its most subtle form we marched on to grosser and grosser forms of existence. RD 13 goal of life
