unaware of goal of life and means to achieve it.

  2. Pradeep says:

Basically people generally do not know what they want in their life. There is no goal in other words. Hence, all expectations are materialistic and they expect all of this to be fulfilled from religious organisations – which never happen. This leads them to disturbed state of mind eventually.

In reading history and the behavior of people, it seems only a few, compared to the many, people ever realized the principles of God. Selfishness, greed, and huge egos in my opinion have kept people in a disturbed state of mind. If we all followed the basic principles of our creator, then we would have no room for mind disturbances.

  4. Smita says:

The real goal is lost. Only outward practices are given more importance (in temples, churches, mosques and other organisations). Not many know the exact meaning derived from the great scriptures(Bhagvadgita, Quran, Bible). The mind being super active, keeps on creating new goals and gets itself engaged in fulfilling those. In this process, new samskaras are constantly created and further these coverings take a solid form, unable think of the real goal. Hence to break this so called process, help from a worthy guide is needed who can make clear of our final goal. Coverings (gathering of unwanted things) takes us farther away from reality which is the main cause for disturbed state of mind.

It is because they have lost the real spirit with which it was established by its founder & only formalities are remained which are followed with extreme orthodoxy & tenacity. Thus everyone is stuck in forms & rituals leading to all this addition of disturbance to already disturbed state. Thus he is barred of even thinking about something higher & subtle which is worth to attain, which was the real essence of all this establishment.

  6. dakshayani says:

It is because they have failed miserably to impress upon the human mind about Reality & in place of it outward forms & rituals, entertainment to senses, material attraction , groupism are being given more prominence & thus man is in more confused & disturbed state by that.

  7. Veena says:

  8. Ganapathi Hegde says:

    Lack of proper guidance

  9. Kavitha says:

Because true guidance is missing by the leaders of these institutions and the underlying spirit of these religions and institutions has disappeared.

  10. Deepa says:

The temples, mosques, church and other organizations are not really teaching what exactly is written in Bhagvadgeeta,Quran and Bible and how to set the goals. the understanding of literature and messages given by those founders is not appropriate to people so people are confused and unaware of their real goal and wandering in materialistic things which is leading to disturbed state of mind.

  11. Deepa says:

I think,Because people are unaware of what they really want. they set goals(materialistic), achieve them and again they set new goals. This cycles continues and there is no end for the fulfillment of one’s wishes. In pursuit of achieving these short term goals, people will be in disturbed state of mind.
